General information regarding the awards

What is the menu for the evening?

Please note that you must make the organisers aware of any vegetarian meals required or other dietary requirements before the event, to guarantee availability. 

Starter:  Honey roast salmon with a spiced thai salad of cucumber, lime, chilli and coriander served with balsamic dressing

Vegetarian option starter:  Duo of melon with port, apple and blackberry timbale

All served with bakers bread basket

Intermediate: Champagne Sorbet

Main: Roast fillet of Beef on neeps with chateau potatoes and vegetable timbale, served with rich red wine jus

Vegetarian option main: Meditteranenan Vegetable Gateau topped with Parmesan Tuille with Vegetable Spaghetti and Spicy Tomato Sauce

All served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes 

Dessert:  Elderflower and raspberry jelly with berries and passion fruit crème brulee

Coffee with mints and cream

What are the terms and conditions for entering the awards?

Our terms and conditions are:

1. The Awards are open to all companies in the Sheffield City Region with an 'S' postcode and must be submitted on an official entry form.
2. Entries must be in English and received by 5.00pm 24th October 2008.
3. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the Awards programme.
4. It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide the relevant information for their entry, which will become the property of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and will not be returned.
5. The organisers reserve the right to audit any or all information supplied by an entrant and each entrant agrees to assist the organisers in any such audit in every way possible.
6. For any applicant knowingly providing false information on their application the organisers reserve the right to withdraw any award to that organisation, to publicise the withdrawal and present the award to another applicant.
7. Winning entries will be publicised. Applicants are responsible for making appropriate arrangements to protect any intellectual property associated with their application.
8. Entry does not grant an organisation rights to use Awards name, logo or images without the express written approval of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. Some winners may be granted permission to use an Awards logo for a limited period to promote their achievement.
9. The judges reserve the right to alter award categories in the light of the entries received. They reserve the right to cancel an awards category.
10. The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Guidance on entry criteria and tips on the things that the judges are looking for are available of the Awards website.
