The Sheffield Business Awards has secured a hat-trick of new sponsors.
Regional development agency Yorkshire Forward and telecommunications company Edge Telecom have become headline sponsors for the prestigious event on December 3.
Yorkshire Forward is tasked with improving the economy in the region and making the area a better place to live, work and invest in. Edge Telecom - part of the GCI Com group – has come to the fore in the telecommunications sector by developing a high quality UK Voice and Data network.
Meanwhile, ask4 business is sponsoring the Excellence in Retail Services Award, which celebrates an outstanding company which has seen an impact on sales activity by using customer engagement or feature campaigns.
ask4 business was established earlier this year to supply Sheffield organisations with business grade fibre optic internet connectivity.
The 2009 Sheffield Business Awards, organised by the city’s Chamber of Commerce, are set to be the biggest to date with 15 accolades up for grabs. More than 1,000 people from all sectors of the Sheffield business community are expected to attend.
Applying to win an award could not be easier. The Awards have a dedicated web site www.sheffieldbusinessawards.org.uk where businesses can register their details, gain access to the application form and submit an entry.
